The Sacajawea Fiber Arts Guild (formerly the Sacajawea Handweavers’ Guild) spans the Columbia River with members from Cowlitz, Lewis, Clark and Wahkiakum counties in Washington and Columbia County in Oregon.

The Guild has been functioning since the 1950’s for the education and advancement of fiber arts within the Guild and in the community.  Our purpose is to provide a forum where active handweavers and fiber artists may share information, knowledge, and techniques.  Beginners as well as skilled crafters will share encouragement and inspiration.   The guild meets monthly from September through May.  During the summer months we participate in local fairs, farmers market, and other community events as well as workshops and study groups.

Benefits of membership include access to an extensive library and rental tools.  Members may receive a study grant after which they present their new information to the Guild.  A monthly newsletter is published to keep up-to-date with news and events.

Meetings are held 4:00 – 7:00 on the 4th Thursday monthly at La Favorites Yarn & Coffee Shop, 204 Pacific Ave So, Kelso, WA.
