Lurie-Larochette 8’ Tapestry Loom

Lurie-Larochette 8′ haute-lisse tapestry loom from the studio of textile artist Dixie Manwaring. This loom was built by Yael Lurie and Jean-Pierre Larochette in Oakland, California and is the classic Lurie-Larochette professional tapestry model found in university programs and master weavers’ studios. It is not a hobby loom and was never a production item — it was built to order as a lifetime weaving instrument. Specs: Massive laminated hardwood beams, Ratcheted tension control, Chain counterbalance system, Disassembled and ready for transport.  Stored in a dry space and remains in excellent condition.
