Studio of Handcraft Loom, 8 shaft, 14 treadles. constructed in 1976. Weaving width – 46.5. Solid red maple construction. Very sturdy for weaving anything from rugs to delicate lace weaves. Loom needs new lam and treadle waxed cord, available through Maine Thread Co. or convert it to LeClerc Treadle system with Tex-solv through Camilla Valley Farms.. It also needs additional heddles – 12.5 ‘for inserted eye. Studio Looms are unique in their set-up, but those that use them are very pleased with how well they operate.
