The Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild has been part of the Oceanside artisan community on Vancouver Island since 1991. In recent years the guild has grown to approximately 50 members. Our members interests include spinning, weaving, knitting, felting and dyeing.
The guild supports personal growth in the fibre arts through study groups, workshops, mentoring and sharing of experience. We also promote the fibre arts in the larger community through, exhibitions and public demonstrations and by creating learning opportunities.
We have a well-equipped studio and resource centre in the town of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island where we hold workshops and work together on group projects.
The guild holds regular meetings at 10:30 am on the fourth Monday of the month at Qualicum Commons, 744 Primrose Street in Qualicum Beach. Visitors are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
