Free 4 Shaft Jack Loom

FREE 4 shaft oak jack loom with 6 treadles. Originally a DIY kit. Back beam tension is a friction wheel.  I have been able to make it work using a heavy weight, but otherwise it slips a bit. The shaft-lifting mechanism is hard to work. I’ve always stood on the treadles to raise shafts. Weight of the loom allows for a hard beat without creating unwanted “walking”.  Frame is 55” left to right, plus about 9” on one side from the projecting of the removable winding handle.  Beater frame extends about 3” on each side. Frame is 44” front to back.  53” from floor to top of castle. Metal heddles and 10 dent reed included.   Photos available.  Ocean Park, WA. The loom requires disassembly to transport. Transport available within 200 miles. Email if interested.
