Countermarche 60″ Cranbrook Loom. This vintage 1950-60s, 4 shaft, 6 treadle, 60”, wood pegged countermarche Cranbrook Weaving Loom, was made by J.P. Bexell & Son in Michigan. There is a homemade shaft switching device, made according to the instructions in Peter Collingwood book….works great. This loom is a strong, wide loom for weaving amazing rugs and blankets. Great for shaft-switching and split shed weaving as well as any 4 shaft weaving structure. I have had the loom since about 1980 and hate to see it go but I need to downsize! Photos available.
